Young Actors Program
SUMMER TERM 2023:
- WEE ACTORS (Ages 4 - 8): Sundays, 1:00 - 2:00 PM
- CHILDREN'S WORKSHOP (Ages 8.5 - 11): Sundays, 2:00 - 3:15 PM
- 'TWEEN/TEEN CLASS (Ages 12 - 17): Sundays, 3:15 - 5:15 PM

The studio is located at 929 W. 11 Mile Road in Madison Heights, just east of Stephenson Highway (I-75).
Private Coaching and Audition Prep
Tuesdays and Thursdays are open for private lessons during the day but coaching for audition prep can be scheduled any time. Please call (248) 919-8233 to book a session or a lesson package.
About Us
About Our Studio
The Actor's Workshop is an acting, film and art studio, serving as a resource center for actors and filmmakers since 1984. Specializing in training actors for film and stage, our focus is on artistic development. We also provide a variety of services for filmmakers: from hosting rehearsals, casting assistance to production support services. Through the years we've trained thousands of actors and film artists.
What We Do
We offer acting classes in metro Detroit for adults and children. Our purpose is to offer excellent training for the modern actor along with effective career guidance and support. Our program will appeal to the student with high aesthetic values. Learn how to become an actor and break into the film business. If you're a serious actor, learn how to become a better artist. We serve as a resource center for filmmakers too, offering a variety of services in film production support.
Additional Services
Private coaching, audition tapings and professional writing are among the services we offer to actors. Actors benefit from opportunities to work in various film and stage projects throughout the year. Acting showcases are held from time to time, affording an opportunity for actors to be seen by filmmakers, producers and directors.
