

Basic acting training that covers the fundamentals of drama and acting technique. Beginning work on voice, speech, relaxation and focus. Actors will explore commercial scripts, character creation and scene work. Actors will work on a commercial script and a comedic scene. Perfect for those with no experience.

SEPTEMBER 22 - OCTOBER 27 (6 WEEKS)


Same as Session I, this class makes up the second half of Fall Term but it is also a stand-alone class. A reinforcement of the basics of acting training with a focus on scene study. Voice & speech, character development and scene breakdown. (See description above for FUNDAMENTALS I.) Actors will be assigned a monologue and a dramatic scene.

NOVEMBER 3 - DECEMBER 15 (7 WEEKS WITH 1 WEEK OFF TBD)


Sign up for both Fall and Winter and save money. This class promises to be an engaging overview of the basics of acting technique with a focus on scene study. Voice & speech, character development, scene breakdown, commercial scripts, monologues plus a variety of classic acting exercises. (See description above.) Each actor will prep a commercial, a monologue and three scenes to be taped as acting samples. Excellent immersion for ambitious actors.

FALL/WINTER TERM 2025-26: NOVEMBER 3 - MARCH 23 (18 WEEKS)


Emphasis is on advanced scene study along with work on character development. Detailed voice and speech exercises to develop eloquence. Goals include achieving good grasp of character and solid understanding of the text. For intermediate actors with some experience or previous training. Includes attendance in Monday's class for those who want to train twice a week.

FALL TERM 2025: NOVEMBER 4 - DECEMBER 16 (7 WEEKS WITH 1 WEEK OFF TBD)


Training for the professionally-minded actor. Includes Fundamentals on Monday nights*, Scene Study on Tuesday nights, Actor As Filmmaker on Thursday nights. Advanced scene study and character development; covers stage and film acting techniques, audition skills and the business of acting. Actors in this class will access valuable career guidance, develop career strategies and will work on demo reels. Free audition self-taping services included. Actors can also participate in film projects.
*Monday night's class is included but optional.
